Past week, we started the first unit in Math 7 ;
Unit 1: Number Sense and Numeration
Representing and ordering decimals (to hundredths), fractions, and integers; representing squares and square roots; dividing whole numbers by simple fractions and decimals; adding and subtracting simple fractions and integers; multiplying and dividing decimal numbers to thousandths by onedigit whole numbers; applying order of operations in expressions with brackets; relating fractions, decimals, and percents; solving problems involving wholenumber percents and unit rates.
Unit 1 will be covering Chapter 1,2,6 and 9 of the textbook.
I did provide the students with Chapter lesson outline before we started to make sure that students will know exactly which lesson we are covering as well the homework accompanying the lessons and students were asked to sign it by a parent.
